A good pot carries more than its function—it holds the memory of hands shaping it, the fire that finished it, the small, imperceptible decisions that make it whole. I work with stoneware, porcelain, and soda firing to create pieces that balance form and surface, gesture and strength. My approach is grounded in history, but not nostalgic. I draw from centuries of ceramic traditions while making work that speaks to contemporary life.
In my utilitarian pottery, I explore patterns, color, and composition, always thinking about how a piece will be used, how it will feel in the hand. My urns draw from sacred architecture, crafted to hold memory with dignity and presence. Whether a simple cup or a vessel for remembrance, each piece is made with intention, meant to serve, to be lived with, and to last.
