Experiments in Soda Firing
Where are the limits and outer boundaries of what happens when soda clay and fire get together? Examining the range of oxidation to reduction, and the spectrum of light to heavy and even more amounts soda, we will research and prepare our work for two experimental firings in this class. Work with this group to find clay bodies and slips to visually record in ceramic art this fire odyssey!
Wednesday nights with two weekend firings, April 1 - May 20th. A bag of clay, bisque, and firings included in cost.
