This 9-inch tall soda-fired stoneware pitcher balances playful form and functional design. Crafted from dark clay with a light slip, the firing process has left behind warm golden tones with striking green and purple glaze accents. The bold, sculpted beak-like spout adds both character and precision to pouring, while the rounded body and gracefully curved handle ensure a comfortable grip.
Fired in a soda kiln, the surface carries natural flashing and subtle glaze variations, making each side of the pitcher unique. Whether used for serving drinks, holding fresh flowers, or as a sculptural statement piece, this pitcher is both lively and practical—a vessel meant to be engaged with and enjoyed.
