This soda-fired porcelain urn carries a sense of heritage and quiet strength, inspired by Early American canister forms. Measuring 4.25 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter, it holds 30 cubic inches of ashes.
Its surface is alive with orange flashing and organic patterning, the result of the unpredictable interaction between flame, soda, and clay. A distinct bright orange line encircles the gallery lip, marking where the lid meets the vessel—a small but striking detail in an already thoughtful form. A simple, grounded, and timeless vessel for remembrance.
